Trailer taken from Whiteford Rd. home

An Ottawa Lake man said someone stole a 20-foot-long trailer valued at $5,500 from his driveway in the 6400 block of White-ford Rd. sometime between Jan. 15 and Jan. 30.
The black metal trailer was parked near his home. Two weeks ago, the man, 29, noticed the trailer missing but believed a friend may have borrowed it. After checking with his friends and learning that no one borrowed it, he called police.
The trailer had no license plate on it but was insured, deputies said.
